Cancellation Policy

SECURING USE OF THE FACILITY: - You must request use of the facility on our website - www.fortsoniabaptistchurch.com - If you are using the kitchen, please provide your own plates and utensils, and take them with you when your event is finished. - Church equipment (audio and visual) is off limits unless you have special permission. - Arrange in advance of the event how the building will be accessed/secured. Don’t assume a key will be available if prior arrangements have not been made. - Anyone using the facilities for non-church related activities can make a donation. Donations are not expected or required, but are appreciated. RULES FOR BUILDING USE: - No food or drink are allowed in the restrooms or recreation/gym area. - The classrooms, storage closet and attic are off limits. The stage is off limits to children. - No alcohol or drugs are allowed on church grounds. No smoking/vaping in facility. - Children are to have adult supervision at all times. This includes the playground. - No one under the age of 18 is allowed to operate kitchen equipment. - If you bring outside equipment, please observe proper safety measures. - Closing checklist must be completed before leaving the facility. CLEAN UP AND CLOSING THE FACILITY: - Wipe tables clean with a damp cloth. - Put the tables and chairs back where you found them. - Sweep the floor and pick up any trash. - Take all of your trash out to the dumpster. If the dumpster is full, take trash with you. - Adjust AC or heat as instructed. - Check restrooms: flush toilets, check trash and turn out lights. - Straighten kitchen. Turn off water at sink. Check for water on floor. Put any dish cloths in the laundry basket under the sink. - Make sure the stove and oven are off. - Make sure no food is left open. Leave no leftovers in the refrigerator. - Make sure all outside equipment is removed. - Turn off lights. Lock and close the doors. DISCLAIMER AND EMERGENCY CONTACT: - You are responsible for repairing/replacing damage to the facility during your event time. This does not include normal wear-and-tear. Report damage to Pastor Andrew Danals. - Fortsonia Baptist Church is not responsible for injuries on our property during your event. - In case of a medical emergency, please call 911 and contact Pastor Andrew Danals.
