Our Mission

FORGIVENESS
We believe that by His sacrifice on the cross we have received Forgiveness.
We believe that the first step in a relationship with God is the forgiveness of our sins. Romans 3:23 tells us that “all have fallen short of the Glory of God.” This means that every person has missed the mark of perfection.
We believe that because we have sinned, we are in a state of separation from God that will last forever if not remedied. Isaiah 59:2 explains that “…your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.”
Thankfully, God had a plan from the very beginning. That plan was Jesus Christ. He came into the world to take away the guilt of our sins so that we will no longer be separated from God.
John 3:16 makes clear “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

FREEDOM
We believe by His truth we can
walk in Freedom.

We believe that sin and its effects keep people in an endless state of burden and bondage. Jesus told a group of unbelieving Pharisees in John 8:34, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin.” However, this bondage no longer applies to believers. Jesus goes on to say in
John 8:36, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” We believe that this freedom is total and complete. We are free from the burden and guilt of sin (Romans 8:1). We are free from wondering about our future (Romans 8:37-39). We are free to have a relationship with God without hinderance (Hebrews 4:16). We are free from the cares of this world (Matthew 6:25-34). The best way to walk in this freedom is to embrace and live God's truth. John 8:32 says, “you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” These truths allow us to live as God intends. Galatians 5:13-14 sums this up perfectly, “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'"

FAITH
We believe that by His resurrection
our Faith is not in vain.

We believe that Faith is the foundation of our relationship with God.
Hebrews 11:1 tells us, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
Faith is not only necessary to receive salvation, but it also must be present to endure to the end. We believe that this enduring faith hinges on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The curse of sin is death which was only conquered because Jesus rose from the dead three days after His crucifixion. Jesus
introduces Himself in Revelation 1:17-18 as, “…the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.”
1 Corinthians 15:53-56 tells us the effect of the resurrection: “For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: 'Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?' 'The sting of death is sin." In this same letter Paul explains in
1 Corinthians 15:16-17, “For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been
raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.”
